Color Inspiration, Weekend Sketch and More New Stamps

Hi again all!

Back again very quickly to share my creation for Color Inspiration and the Weekend Sketch Challenge. I changed the panels on the weekend sketch, simply because it worked better for me. I liked the colors Kristina chose. I had a hard time figuring out how to incorporate the olive, though. That's why I only used a small piece of it. I also wanted to try my hand at some bleaching techniques that I'd seen done lately as well. For the piece on the left with the sentiment, I sprayed a piece of Ruby Red card stock lightly with a mist of bleach and let that dry. Then I sprayed the paper with water and crumpled it up. I straightened the paper and pressed basic brown, and Ruby Red ink pads over the paper and let the paper dry. Finally I sponged some Old Olive ink around the top and bottom edges. I inked the sentiment from "Echoes of Kindness" in black ink in the center. For the panel on the right I took another stamp from the same set and simply stamped it in bleach on to the paper. The rest is fairly straightforward, so I won't bore you with all the details. So, that's all for my creativity today...I'm off to start prepping my GH chatter post. (General Hospital fans make sure you stop back by today or tomorrow for all the latest news and scoops!)
