Fantastic True Story

Hi Everyone!

Well, as promised, I have a non-birthday card to share with you today. I made this scard using Simon Says Stamp "To Thine Own Shelf" stamp set. This is a stamp set that was part of the September 2014 card kit. I don't use this set very often, so I thought I'd show it a little love today. This is a very versatile set with lots of different options for fun designs.

I chose to stamp the images in a variety of fun bright colors on white card stock mainly to just help the smaller stamps in the set that I used to pop.

That is all for me today. Have a great weekend and I'll see you all again on Monday!

Birthday Balloons and Hugs

Hi Everyone!

I hope you're all doing well. Thank you for visiting with me again today. I have another birthday card to share with you today! Shocking I know; but hang in there...I actually have a different card planned for Friday!

This card is super simple. I just used Altenew's Birthday Greetings stamp and masked the balloons across the front. I stamped the balloons on a piece of Neenah Solar White in Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Mustard Seed, and Dusty Concord distress inks. I took some fine felt tip markers and drew the strings  on free hand and then I also used my clear Wink of Stella pen to add some shimmer to the balloons. You know I love my Wink of Stella pen, and I use it quite often. I do wish it showed up in photos a little better because it's always hard to tell whether it's actually there or not!
Anyhow, I digress....I stamped the sentiment from the same set in black ink and then mounted the image panel onto a piece of Simon Says Stamp Black cardstock.
Fairly simple card; but I was pleased with the final results. I hope you like it as well!

Have a fabulous day and I will see you again soon!

Birthday Wishes

Hi Everyone!

I hope you have all been well. I am hoping to be back to posting a little more on a regular basis the next few weeks. I have plenty of cards made to share, I just need to schedule the time to get them posted.

For my card today, I am sharing a birthday card I made using some stamps from Clearly Besotted, and Simon Says Stamp.  I also used the curved edge die from Simon Says stamp which I cut twice in order to layer. I ran the Enchanted Evening (PTI) card stock through my cuttlebug with an embossing folder. I made a border using the small stamps from the Clearly Besotted in Audrey Blue.

I added some faux white stitching lines and some stickles for some final fun bling.

That is all for me today. Have a great day, thank you for visiting with me, and I will see you all again soon!

Sending Love and Wishes

Just popping by to quickly share a card this morning. I probably should have shared this back in February closer to Valentine's Day; but I didn't. I would still send this as a birthday card or even just a "thinking of you" card.

Have a great day and I'll see you all again soon1

Coffee helps...with Life!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all doing well! It has been quite a while since my last posting; but as I said previously, the spring is a bit of a busy time for me as a mom. I have projects prepped and ready to share with you this week and then we'll see what happens next week!
Since today is Monday, I thought this "Coffee Helps" card would be perfect! You know sometimes, it's hard to get things moving and grooving on a Monday. I used a stash of patterned papers I had to create an earthy themed color palette with the coffee cup. The stamp set is "Coffee Helps" from Verve. I stamped the smaller mug and die cut it with the coordinating die cut and then colored it in with various Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment in "Schoolhouse Red" ink from Simon Says Stamp.

A few challenges to share this card with today:

1. The Ribbon Girls: Anything Goes with Ribbon
2. Stamping Sensation: Anything Goes with Stamp as focal point
4. HeARTful Stamping Challenge: Anything Goes
5. Addicted to stamps: Stamped image and sentiment.

Short and sweet post for me today; but I hope you like what shared today with you! Have a great day and I hope to see you again tomorrow!
