A Bleached Birthday

Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the late post today. The boys and I went to the park today to enjoy a nice picnic lunches. This card is another attempt at a trying a new technique for me. This time I decided to do bleaching. I really liked the results; but you definitely have to experiment with different colors because the bleaching affects each color differently. Unlike my oxi-clean disaster, I think I will definitely be trying this one again. In my experimenting I noticed that darker colors, like Navy and Rose Red bleach a sort of golden color unlike the white shown with my card today.
I've also posted a recipe, so be sure to scroll down and check it out. Also, I wanted to let all my Gh fans know that I will be posted GH Friday chatter tomorrow. Boy oh boy do we have a lot to talk about! Also, check out Cambria's blog. She's giving away totally awesome blog candy!!
