Live Life with Joy and Flower Watercolor

Hi Everyone!

I'm so glad you've come to visit me today. I hope this isn't your first time visiting my little blog here, but if it is, welcome! Today, I'm sharing a card that I wasn't sure I wanted to post here or not. I like it, but it didn't come out exactly the way I had envisioned. Sometimes, I think I overestimate my artistic abilities! However, I decided that I should probably just go ahead and share it and put my flaws out there for all to see!

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad card. I just had some difficulty with the stencil staying in place...even after securing it with painters tape around the edges. My original thought was to watercolor the flowers through the stencil; but the stencil moved a bit, so when I pulled the stencil away, the edges were a little splotchy in places. Then I tried to outline the flowers; but I didn't have the pen I wanted, so I ended up just using a simple ball point pen, which is pretty obvious in a few places!
Finally, I decided the cure all would be sequins! Sequins always make things look pretty, right?! And I also used some gold stickles! I added the sentiment which is from Hero Arts. A set called "Live Life" which I don't think is available anymore.
That is it for me today, have a great Wednesday; and I will see you all again on Friday!
