Beate's Weekend Sketch #69

Hi Everyone and TGIF!

It's time again for another weekend sketch from Beate. Have I mentioned that I am so happy that she is doing these again!! So a big thank you to Beate for providin us stampers with creative inspiration once again. This week's sketch is easy and fun to work with. I think I'm going to try to use it again a bit later today for some more creativity. The card really is as straight forward as it appears. I stamped the Brocade Blue base with my "Fine Lace" Background stamp...my favorite background stamp! Then I added the mustard layers at the top and bottom. I stamped the image from the Upsy Daisy set in Brocade Blue first and then stamped it again a bit off center in Night of Navy to get the shadowy effect. I scalloped the edges of the Mellow Moss piece with my corner rounder. (No, I do not yet own the scalloped edge punch. Sad, I know; but true)
Anyways, just a clean and simple card to share today. I hope you like it. Be sure to visit Beate's Blog and check out all the other fantastic creations. Have a great day and don't forget to check back later for Friday GH chatter for the latest General Hospital scoops and news. (Not to mention a couple of my own opinions)
