Just a quick post to restart the blog after a very long craft-free, and busy summer! So, what have I been up to these past three months? Well, let me tell you all about it!
We spent a fun family day at the lake. The kids practiced their canoeing skills; and the boys did a little fishing. One caught a fish...and the other one caught a tree!! LOL
Then it was time to pack up our house in Iowa and head west for
our new adventure in California!
Our journey west included a stop over in Utah's Zion's National Park. It was so beautiful! We were only there for a night, so we didn't actually do any hiking; but we were happy to take advantage of some great photographic opportunities!
We spent more than a "few nights" in hotels, where Toby was more than happy
to have a bed all to himself!
Finally we arrived in our new home in California, and we are settling in quite well. The kids have all started school and I am getting into a new rhythm and routine as well. So far, California living has been very nice! I have been especially happy to discover there are over 12 Starbucks locations located within 5 miles of my house!!
So that's a little glimpse into my summer. I hope you have all had a great one as well. I am back to crafting and working on a new post for Saturday Morning Coffee Cafe which I will restart tomorrow morning! Thanks for stopping by and visiting me this morning! I hope you come back again!
