25 Days of Christmas Cards: Day 2 Be Joyful

Hi Everyone!

I hope you're all doing well. Thank you for joining me again today, I hope you are all enjoying your holiday weekend. We had a nice quiet Thanksgiving and put up our Christmas decorations yesterday. It is my daughters FAVORITE day of the year. She will tell you that she even likes it better than Christmas Day and her birthday! I love having the house all decorated and Christmas scented candles burning throughout the house!
Anyhow, I know you're here to see a card! Here is the card for Day 2 in the 25 Days of Christmas Cards series. Lots of white in this card; but I thought little bits of pattern paper were a great way to break all that white up just a little.
The base of the card is 110lb Neenah Solar White card stock and the pattern papers are all from Echo Park 6x6 paper pad "Holly Jolly Christmas" The snowman is from Inkadinkado which I stamped in Archival Jet Black ink and then colored with Copics. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp's "Big Scripty Greetings"

Have a great day and I'll be back tomorrow!

I like the cheeks on the snowman and the little strips of designer paper to add some dimension and break up the white. Your daughter is like our Charles... so excited to have the tree up and the colored light. Of course, our Charles is a cat, but he acts like a kid when it is tree time.

Love the cheeky looking snowman. I do like scented candles at christmas time but have to admit to buying some LED ones this year. They do look very like candles and have a lovely glow. I always worry about having lite candles on the table. Hugs Valeryanne.
