25 Days of Christmas: Day 3

For today's card, I used the same faux letterpress technique that Kristina used for her Day 3 card. This was the first time that I'd seen this technique and I was quite intrigued by it. It was super simple and I really liked doing it. I didn't have the same type of ink that she used, so it doesn't have the super smooth finish that is in the original card;  but I rather like the faded background, I think it adds another element of texture. With the focus being on the background, there really isn't a need to have much more than a sentiment with it. Again, this is from a set of stamps from Michael's.
You'll see I use those a lot in these holiday cards. I will definitely be buying some new holiday stamps for next year! This color combination of Aqua, Red and White is one of my favorite holiday color palettes. The ribbon is from Michael's and just happened to match perfectly. This is one of my favorite cards in the series. It could easily be made for multiple cards.
Ok, so that's all for today. See y'all tomorrow!
