Simple Birthday

Good Morning Everyone.

TGIF! I've got a busy afternoon today, so I wanted to post this early this morning. This card is just a simple birthday card. I decided when I made it that I was not going to search for a sketch to follow; but simply see what I can come up with on my own. Whenever I make a card, I always have the other half of the base when I cut the original paper. Then it goes in a little bag labeled "pre cut card size" with the intention that I'm going to go back and use those, so that I'm not constantly cutting up new paper each time I make a new card. That's a good theory except that I forget about that little bag. Sooo, I've decided to use those pieces and the first one I pulled out was a piece of Ruby Red. I also chose Mellow Moss, Pink Pirouette, and Close to Cocoa. I stamped the flower images and heart images from "Simply Said" on Pink Pirouette, then added the silver eyelets in the flowers. I decided it was a bit plain, so I decided to paper pierce and then faux stitch around it. I used the Daisy wheel on the Mellow Moss paper and added the three strips of ribbon at the bottom before adding it to the Ruby Red Base. Then I added the sentiment from "Sincere Salutations" and finished the card.
So, that's all for my creative energies for today. For all my fellow GH fans, be sure to check back this afternoon for the new "weekly GH Chatter" post. Everyone else, thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend.
