Thank you for visiting with me today. II hope you're having a good week so far. I intended to share this card yesterday; but got a little busy and it was my son's birthday as well, so I just decided to save it for today.
I am sharing a card using Verve Stamps "Coffee Helps" set. I know Julee has some new coffee theme sets she's just released. I've seen so many great designs and cards for these new sets. I've not had a chance to get any of the new sets; but they did inspire me to make something using the set I do have.
I used Spring Moss and Melon Berry and Cream from PTI, a piece of Rust colored cardstock and Sea Glass from Simon Says Stamp for my color palette. I layered it as shown, adding a bit of texture with some embossing folders. I stamped the small cup from the set with some Vintage Photo distress ink and then colored it in with Prismacolor pencils. I fussy cut the cup out and then layered it onto a cream circle. I could have just stamped it directly on the cream circle; but I wasn't entirely sure if I was going to use a cream circle or a different color.
