Awesome Birthday

Hi Everyone! I hope you have all had a wonderful day. As you can see, I am posting this late in the day; but finally getting around to it. I did another blog post earlier with pictures and a fun recap about our camping vacation. Scroll down after this post and take a look!

Today's card was very easy to put together, and it wasn't until I got finished with it that I realized why. It has no stamps on it! I didn't stamp one single piece of the card. This is for the Viva La Verve Sketch challenge Week 1 (August) over at SCS. I will be uploading it to that gallery as well. I try very hard to use my Verve stamps when using those sketches; but I just couldn't get one to work out the way I wanted it to. So, I decided if I wasn't going to use a Verve Stamp, I was going to make sure I kept the heart as part of the design. I used my Cricut to cut the two hearts and then pieced them together. The rest of the card is truly as simple as it looks!
Now, I'm off to get dinner for the little man and myself. Have a great night and thanks so much for taking the time to visit me!

Challenges for this card are:

Cute Card Thursday: No pattern paper

Little Miss Muffet Challenges: Outside the Diecut

Color Throwdown:

Crafts and Me: Anything Goes

Truly Scrumptious: Buttons and Bows

Hi Dori, plain, simple but very elegant, lovely imagination with the layout of the card. Embossing fabulous and great colours.

Sorry if you already know how to do this but there is a tutorial on my blog showing ... outside the diecut.

Thanks for sharing with us at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and good luck with the challenge.

Hugs Shirley
