Successful Women and Coffee

Hi Everyone!

One of the things I like best about stamping and making my own cards is that most of the time, there is always a perfect sentiment that I can put on a card, thereby making it easier for me to not have to come up with one on my own! We all have our favorite sentiments and some of us a lot more than a few favorites! This one from Verve Stamps "Delightful and Delicious" set has simply got to be one of my all-time favorites because it is just so true! I am a coffee fanatic, so I was especially drawn to this set and it is so fun to work with! I love my coffee and yes, I am one of those people that takes the extra 10 minutes in the morning to grind my beans every morning. I have my sister-in-law to thank for that since she introduced me to that concept this past Christmas. I love my Starbucks "non-fat peppermint half-caf latte" that I cannot wait to treat myself to again once school starts! I think this sentiment is appropriate because it could apply to all levels and sorts of successful women, not just corporate ladder-chasing women. I am a SAHM and yes it has it's perks of being able to stay in my PJ's until noon sometimes if I want; but I also know that the amount of work I do in my PJ's is often an Olympic worthy event!
I have many "Coffee loving, Starbuck's addicted" friends as well; but by far the wittiest and one of my favorites is my friend Jenn. Jenn and I are sorority sisters from college and through the wonders of social media have been able to reconnect. Jenn has a blog "ClemsonGirl and the Coach" and I highly encourage you to read it. She never ever fails to tell it like it is and I love her perfect comedic timing! " So, with that I am dedicating this card to her today!
Of course, there are some challenges for this card as well:

1. Mojo Monday: Sketch (fun and easy to work with!)
2. Crafty Cardmakers: Spots and Stripes
3. Creative Stamp Friends: Dots
4. KB Cute Monday: Flowers
5. Make it Monday: Anything Goes
6. There She Goes: 2 different punches or die cuts. I used Label 1 and label 11 Nestabilities. (Note: Feline Playful had it listed as 2; but the actual blog says 3. I wasn't aware of that until after I'd completed the card. I'm still linking my card with the challenge, just to share it.)
7. Spotlight Challenge: Use a sentiment as a focus

Have a great day, and make it an fun, successful and crafty one if you can!
