The "Joy" of Card Making

Ok, ok I know it's a REALLY bad blog post title; but sometimes that's the hardest part of blogging: thinking of the title!

One quick note before I chat about my card. I have recently begun to do some writing for Associated Content. This morning I found out that my first article has been published. Yay! If you could all do me a favor and please read the article, I would greatly appreciate it. It is a very short piece on supplies for college freshmen (and why they need umbrellas!). I'll be honest, it's all about the money. The more people who view the page, the better chance I have to earn a bit of money. So please please help me out. Yes, I'm begging!!!
Ok, now onto the card. I made this card for Tuesday Morning Sketches. It is actually a Joy Fold Card; but I had a really hard time getting it to photograph while it was open, so you'll just have to take my word for it. I used Crushed Curry, Going Grey, So Saffron and Ruby Red for my color palette. The pattern paper is from a package I bought from Wal Mart EONS ago. I used Loads of Love stamp set from SU stamping it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then used Copics to color it in. The tires are C1, C2 and C5. The body of the truck is R59 and I used the colorless blender to take away a bit of the color on the truck. The hearts in the back were colored with R35. Everything else is self explanatory, so I'm off. I am 3 days behind with my Google Reader Subscriptions and I'm off to catch up with everyone. I hope you all have a great evening and I'll be back again soon.

Oooohh guess what?!! I just ordered new paper from PTI (my first time) and 2 new OCL stamp sets. YAY!! Can't wait to get them!!
