WSC 103 Indian Summer Friend

Good Morning!

It's a rainy day once again here in RI, so our plans to go to the pumpkin patch have been derailed until tomorrow. I wanted to share my card for this weeks WSC from Beate. This sketch was fun to work with, although I decided not to make a square card, since I just made one of those the other day. I knew, however that I wanted to use another sheet from my Basic Grey Indian Summer package. I'm still loving these! I wanted the squares that I cut to be noticeable so I started with a piece of Dusty Durango that I cut to 9 1/2 x 6 1/2 and folded to get a 4 1/4 x 6 1/2 base. Next I added a 4 x 6 1/4 piece of Blush Blossom which I stamped with the Fine Lace Background stamp with Melon Mambo ink. I cut two 2 3/4 squares of brown paper and then adhered the 2 1/2 Indian Summer squares. The Melon Mambo square in the middle is 3x3 with a 2 3/4 square of Blush Blossom that I stamped with Itty Bitty Backgrounds in Melon Mambo ink. I used my cuttlebug to cut the white piece of paper with one of the dies from the Lots of Tags set from SU. I stamped the "So Glad..."sentiment with Chestnut Roan chalk ink from Colorbox. The leafy branch sticker at the bottom is from the sticker page in the Indian Summer collection package.
Ok, so that's all for me today. I hope you like it! Have a great weekend.
