You're too Kind

Hi Everyone!

I hope that today's card puts a bright summer sunshine smile on your face! I know it made me happy when I was making it. I love this color palette of Summer Sun, Orange Zest, Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores. It just screams summer to me and makes me think of backyard pools and ice cream and BBQ's!
I stamped the petals from Pick a Petal from SU in Cool Caribbean and Pumpkin Pie ink for the focal image and Whimsical Words also from SU for the sentiment. The card was simple and fun to put together; and I also found some challenges to submit if for.

Birthday Wishes

Hi Everyone!

Wow! Such a busy day! It's hard work being an involved and engaged mom! We've done some math work, played monopoly, read some books and been to the pool. So now I am finally getting around to posting this card. I made this for yesterday's Tuesday Morning Sketch. I used lots of nice summer colors for this one, including Kraft, Coral, Sage Shadow, Sweet Blush, and Chocolate Chip.
The image is from The Stamping Boutique. I won a challenge from Card Cupids a while back and was able to select 5 images as my prize and this was one of them.

Some Hopscotch Mojo

Hello!

No, there is no need to adjust your screen, I really am here posting a card today! This is for yesterday's Mojo Monday sketch. I saw the sketch posted and I really rather liked it, so I thought I'd dust off the ol' Fiskars cutter and see what I could come up with. All in all, not too shabby if I do say so myself!
I used Fine Linen and Enchanted Evening from PTI for my card stock base colors and then used patterned papers from BG's Hopscotch 6x6 pad. The balloons are from Verve's "Up, Up and Away" set. I stamped them as well as paper piecing them. As you can see, I moved the ribbon in the sketch to the bottom of the card and put the sentiment up a little higher. No challenges for this card, trying to still get back into the crafting groove.

Hi Everyone!

I know it's been oodles and ages since I've posted anything; and I'm so very sorry for that. If you are a follower....please hang in there with me for a little while longer! I am hoping to be back to crafting soon. I'm just in a crafting rut lately...can't get my mojo going and I have a lot going on as it relates to end of the year school stuff and prepping summer learning activities etc. Yes, I am one of THOSE moms that makes her kids do work over the summer! LOL. I'm also trying to work on my book some more as well.
I stopped crafting for a while because I was completely and totally uninspired and bored with everything I was doing. Now...I am starting to miss it though! So, fingers crossed...I'll be back soon!
