Happy Birthday Toast

Hi Everyone!

Here is my card for yesterday's SCS sketch. I have not inked up "Hot Betty" from OCL in a while and I just thought she'd be perfect for the rectangle in the center. I used Rich Razzleberry, Always Artichoke, Barely Banana, and Vanilla for my color palette. This was a fun color combo and I had a lot of fun with it. I wanted to point out that I did do a bit of background stamping on the smaller banana piece behind Betty with my Print Pattern Background stamp. However, it's really difficult to see and in hindsight, I really should have used Barely Banana ink, instead of versamark. Oh, well...lesson learned. I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink (GREAT with Copics!!) and then I used Copics E00, E02, R20, and E04 to color her skin; E35 for her hair and Y21 for her top and the bottom of the tray she's holding. The rest was colored with ink pads, watercolor crayons and blender pens.
She was fun to work with, as always! I hope you like this one. Have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow!!
