Praying for You

Hello Everyone,

Well, I'm sure many of you are probably surprised to see me here after such a long hiatus. I could spend the next 5 minutes typing a long and complicated monologue about my love-hate relationship with blogging, or I can just jump right back in and share what I've made.

It's been a while since I've spent time on Instagram and visiting my favorite stampers and bloggers; but today I decided to scroll through Instagram and I came upon a post that led me to Jennifer McGuire's Lasting Hearts Card Drive. I was so moved by Kimberly's story that I knew this was just what I needed to get back into my craft room after a long break.

I scoured through my Pinterest boards and found a sketch to use

And this great Paper Trey Ink Color Combo

This is what I came up with. I really liked the pop of yellow with the blues and black. I used Hero Arts Classic Fabric Design background stamp, and Verve Stamps "Circular Sayings" for the sentiment.

I'm linking this card up with the following challenges:

1. Crafty Friends Challenge:  Anything Goes

I will be back with more creations throughout the week and then we'll see what happens. I would love to know what you think, so if you have a moment, leave me a comment and I'll return the favor.
