Distress Ink Stenciling "Thinking of You"

Hi Everyone!

I know I said I was taking a break and I really am; but I found a little pocket of time to do some crafting this week, so I thought I'd stop by and share what I made in a quick post on this rainy Saturday morning since baseball practice was cancelled this morning!

A few weeks ago, Kristina Werner posted a video showcasing Distress ink blending with stencils and I just really liked the technique she used, so I gathered up my stencils and inks and decided to give it a try! I used a stencil from Hero Arts called "Crossing Waves" with Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire inks which I blended on Neenah Dessert Storm card stock. I made a bit of an ink blending boo boo at the bottom so I had to hide it with a bit of embroidery thread.
I heat embossed the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp which is part of the February 2014 card kit (and no longer available, unfortunately) with Versamark and white embossing powder. The small sentiment at the bottom is from PTI "Words of Comfort"  which is also heat embossed on a small strip of black card stock.
I added the finished front panel to a piece of Neenah Solar #110lb standard size card base with a top fold.

That is all for me today. Have a great weekend and I will pop in again as soon as I can!
